1. If you're a new member and using a checking account to establish your Smart Financial membership, you will also have to pay a one-time $5 entrance fee and a $5 opening deposit, in addition to the minimum opening deposit required by the account.
2. This account is subject to a $12 monthly fee if direct deposit is not maintained. If direct deposit stops at any time, the $12 monthly will apply and will continue to be charged to your account until a direct deposit has been re-established within 30 days. Terms and conditions may change at any time without prior notice. The monthly service charge will be waived for the first 3-months of account opening to allow for the initiation of the direct deposit.
